Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. seeks an EHS Manager to partner with site leadership in directing environmental, health, and safety programs. You will ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies and drive a safe, incident-free work environment at the Richmond Repair Center.

You will lead EHS performance, audits, and training; implement improvements, and maintain EHS records. The role requires onsite work and offers relocation support along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field, or HS diploma with 8+ years manufacturing EHS experience.
• 5–7 years of EHS experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with Safety Management Systems (ISO 45001) and regulatory bodies (DEQ, OSHA).
• Demonstrated experience managing plant regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with Federal, State, Local and GE EHS regulations and systems.
• Provide strategic leadership of site EHS performance to meet goals.
• Lead continuous improvement of EHS including OSHA TRIR reductions and risk controls.
• Lead safety training, audits and maintain EHS records.
• Report to GE corporate EHS staff and site management.
• Integrate EHS standards with new/existing equipment and processes.
• Be the Richmond Service Center champion for a safe, healthy workplace.

ISO 45001 knowledge

Education
