Job summary

IES is seeking a Project Lead - OSP to act as on-site coordinator and crew supervisor for voice and data installation projects. You will ensure completion per quality and safety standards while maintaining staff efficiency on the project.

Responsibilities include leading inspections, overseeing radios/air monitors, maintaining site cleanliness, and coordinating with the Project Manager to meet budget and schedule. Strong knowledge of blueprints and safety protocols is essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a High School diploma or GED equivalency.
• Minimum of three (3) years of OSP experience or underground utility work in telecommunications.
• Minimum of six (6) months supervisory and/or managerial experience.
• Must possess and be able to effectively use the listed tools.
• Must have proven skill level to interpret blueprints and other project documents.

Responsibilities

• Act as on-site coordinator and crew supervisor for voice and data installation projects.
• Lead daily inspections and oversee confined space equipment and safety.
• Oversee radios and air monitors for projects and maintain site organization.
• Conduct weekly safety meetings and provide performance communications to Project Manager.
• Coordinate with Project Manager to ensure productivity, budget compliance and job completion.
• Provide as-built documentation and update final project records as required.
