Job summary

Republic Services in Euless, TX is seeking a Stationary Equipment Operator to safely operate stationary equipment at a recycling facility or transfer station, load and compact waste, and inspect gear before and after shifts.

You will monitor materials for hazards, document equipment condition, perform minor maintenance, and follow all safety policies. Qualifications include 2 years of heavy equipment experience, OSHA site experience, valid licenses, and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in heavy equipment operation.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working at sites regulated by OSHA.
• Valid certificate(s) of training and applicable licenses for operation of equipment, as required.
• Good customer service skills to meet and exceed expectations; professional and cooperative demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections of equipment.
• Safely operate stationary equipment (forklift, excavator, bulldozer, front-end loader, sweeper, baler) per safety standards.
• Load transfer trucks and ensure full capacity by packing waste; regulate tonnage.
• Identify and deposit waste/materials into appropriate piles; monitor for hazards.
• Complete Equipment Condition Reports and report repairs as needed.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures; maintain equipment readiness.
