Republic Services is seeking a Landfill Stationary Equipment Operator to safely operate stationary equipment at facilities. The role focuses on transferring, loading and compacting waste while upholding safety standards and efficient operations.

Responsibilities include inspections, waste sorting, loading transfers, and minor equipment maintenance. The ideal candidate has experience with stationary equipment and a strong safety mindset, ready to work in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections of stationary equipment.
• Safely operate equipment such as forklift, excavator, bulldozer, loader, sweeper or baler.
• Monitor waste streams and sort deposits correctly.
• Load transfer trucks and compact waste to optimize capacity.
• Report equipment issues and perform minor servicing as needed.
