Job summary

FedEx Freight, Inc. is seeking an OS&D Support role to investigate over/short and damaged shipments, educate service centers on OS&D fundamentals, and assist in updating OS&D policies.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Two (2) years' experience in clerical support or transportation operations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Basic knowledge of OS&D fundamentals.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Investigate overages related to shipments at service center locations for quality descriptions and placement.
• Assist and serve as point of contact for service centers regarding disposition requests.
• Validate control points in disposition requests, mitigating risk in resolution.
• Supply service centers with authorization for disposition requests.
• Process disposition requests timely to meet company goals.
• Support claims reduction initiatives and improved customer experience.
• Supply external customers with undeliverable freight notice seeking disposition resolution.
• Ensure adequate freight related charges/accessorial charges are applied accurately and timely.
