Job summary

Carlile Transportation in Tacoma, WA is seeking an administrative professional to support the Operations team by resolving OS&D freight issues through research and effective communication with customers, shippers and partner carriers. The role may also assist with other administrative duties.

You will use the TM Command Center and freight documents to locate shipments, prepare paperwork, maintain records, and coordinate with other OS&D coordinators.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Two to four (2-4) years administrative experience in a multi-modal transportation related field.
• 6 months of Forklift experience preferred, will train.
• Minimum one year experience using transportation industry software, Truck Mate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate safely and in compliance with HSSE policies.
• Use the TM Command Center to monitor and identify missing freight issues.
• Use documents to locate freight such as manifests and billing documents.
• Assist the receiving team in researching and resolving freight exceptions.
• Prepare paperwork on OS&D freight, refusals, and claims.
