Job summary

Carlile is seeking an OS&D Coordinator in Tacoma, WA to support the Operations department by resolving freight issues and performing administrative tasks. This role requires strong communication, data entry, and MS Office skills, with knowledge of Truck Mate and Freight Snap preferred.

You will interact with customers, shippers, and partner carriers, maintain OS&D records, and assist with reporting while supporting coverage during PTO and peak hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• 2-4 years administrative experience in a multi-modal transportation related field.
• Forklift experience preferred; training provided.
• Minimum 1 year experience using transportation industry software, Truck Mate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate safely and in compliance with HSSE policies and procedures.
• Monitor and identify missing, misdirected, and other freight issues using the TM Command Center.
• Locate freight using manifests, billing documents, videos, etc.
• Prepare OS&D paperwork and communicate status and action plan with correct parties.
• Maintain accurate OS&D records and update OS&D reports as requested.
• Coordinate with other terminal OS&D Coordinators to avoid repetitive issues.
• Field OS&D claims and customer service calls for General Freight and Home Depot Freight.
• Cross-train with other operations support staff to cover duties during PTO or peak hours.
• All other duties as assigned.
