Job summary

Hanger, Inc. is seeking a Certified Orthotist in Greensboro, NC to evaluate, design, fit, and adjust custom orthotic devices to enhance patient mobility and quality of life.

Join a nationwide network of clinics and work with a collaborative rehabilitation team to deliver exceptional patient care and outcomes. Qualified candidates will hold ABC or BOC certification (or eligibility) and a degree in prosthetics/orthotics.

Qualifications

• Must possess strong biomechanics knowledge for gait analysis and device design.
• Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and documentation.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with physicians, therapists, and patients.
• Proven ability to work effectively as part of a rehabilitation team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to evaluate need for prosthetic/orthotic services and counsel treatment options.
• Design, fabricate and fit prosthetic/orthotic devices to meet patient needs.
• Document clinical notes and maintain patient records accurately.
• Provide patient education on device use and follow-up care.
• Mentor residents or newly certified clinicians where applicable.
• Support reimbursement activities and maintain compliance with safety regulations.
