Job summary

Hanger, Inc. is seeking a Resident Clinician to train in orthotics and prosthetics, delivering comprehensive patient care under supervision. You will assess patients, develop treatment plans, and advance through supervised clinical practice across our nationwide clinics.

You will work with a team of professionals, receiving specialized training, RAC audit resources, and back-office support as you progress toward independent practice and career growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or post-graduate Certificate in Orthotics and/or Prosthetics from a CAAHEP accredited college or university.
• Must have or be eligible for a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Preferred: Master’s degree and post-graduate Certificate in Orthotics and/or Prosthetics from a CAAHEP accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to evaluate need for prosthetic or orthotic services and recommend treatment options.
• Examine and evaluate patient needs related to disease and functional loss; formulate prostheses/orthoses design.
• Take casts/measurements and select materials; perform fittings and dynamic alignments.
• Provide follow-up and detailed clinical notes to support medical necessity; assist reimbursement processes.
• Instruct patients in use of prosthesis/orthosis; provide information to clinical staff.
