Job summary

Hanger Clinic is offering a clinician resident position focused on the orthotics and prosthetics residency path. You will work under supervision to assess patients, design and fit devices, and collaborate with physicians and therapists to deliver optimal outcomes.

The program emphasizes clinical expertise, adherence to guidelines, and ongoing education, with opportunities to advance within one of the nation’s largest O&P networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or post-graduate Certificate in Orthotics/Prosthetics from a CAAHEP-accredited program.
• Must have or be eligible for a valid driver's license.
• Preferred: Master's degree in O&P with a post-graduate certificate.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to evaluate patient needs for prosthetic/orthotic care.
• Assess disease and functional loss to inform treatment options.
• Design and fabricate prostheses/orthoses; take casts/measurements.
• Perform fittings and static/dynamic alignments; ensure proper fit and function.
• Document clinical notes and support medical necessity in patient records.
• Provide patient education and assist in care coordination with staff.
