AdventHealth Hendersonville is seeking a healthcare administrator to lead daily operations at a practice site, ensuring quality patient care, compliance, and effective staff development.

The role coordinates administration, billing, and liaison duties with patients, physicians, and payers, while maintaining HIPAA standards and delivering a high standard of service in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Field of Study: Business, Finance, or Supply Chain.
• 2+ years of related work experience required.
• Leadership experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Patient care experience as CMA, LPN, EMT, etc. preferred.
• Certifications: BLS required; CHAA/CRCR preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provides leadership and direction in accordance with organizational goals and objectives.
• Serves as a liaison for patients, government agencies, and third-party payers for on-site contact for individual practice sites.
• Completes regular performance evaluations for each staff member and conducts evaluations for new staff prior to probation completion.
• Acts as a liaison between administration, physicians, and staff.
• Counsels employees, develops staff, and uses the disciplinary process as appropriate.
• Coordinates the daily operations of the medical practice site.
• Recruits, orients, counsels, and evaluates a team of engaged employees to assure quality patient care.
• Maintains infection control and OSHA standards, HIPAA compliance.
• Leads quality initiatives and safety functions that support patient care.
• Collaborates with ancillary support services to provide a safe, clean environment.
• Resolves patient complaints and uses computer applications to improve efficiency.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Ensures accurate charges, billing and collection of patient accounts, maintaining internal controls over accounts receivable and cash.
