AdventHealth in Columbus, NC, seeks a skilled healthcare administrator to lead and coordinate daily operations across the medical practice site. You will supervise staff, ensure HIPAA/OSHA compliance, and optimize patient care while liaising with patients, physicians, and payers.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and attention to detail, with focus on high-quality service, accurate billing, and maintaining a compliant, safe environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payors.
• Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of HIPAA privacy rules and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction aligned with organizational goals.
• Serve as liaison for patients, government agencies, and third-party payers for on-site contact across practice sites.
• Coordinate the daily operations of the medical practice site.
• Recruits, orients, counsels, and evaluates staff to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintain infection control standards and OSHA/HIPAA compliance.
• Lead quality initiatives and safety functions supporting patient care.
• Resolve patient complaints and ensure accurate charges and billing.
