Forté Sports Medicine and Orthopedics is seeking a full-time Referral & Scheduling Associate to join the busy Patient Access Scheduling team. The role coordinates referrals, triages patient needs, and schedules appointments with orthopedic physicians and APPs across multiple clinic locations, ensuring a seamless patient experience.

Qualifikationen

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent; healthcare-related degree preferred.
• Experience in patient scheduling, referrals, insurance verification, or medical office ops preferred.
• Strong customer service, detail orientation and organizational skills are essential.

Aufgaben

• Answer and screen inbound scheduling calls with clear messages and information.
• Process referrals from external providers via electronic systems.
• Triage patient needs and determine scheduling pathway per protocols.
• Schedule appointments across multiple clinic locations in the EMR (NextGen).
• Communicate appointment details and changes to patients professionally.
• Maintain physician schedules and coordinate with clinical teams for adjustments.
• Collect and organize medical records, imaging, and paperwork for visits.
• Ensure insurance policies, referrals, and authorizations are followed.
• Enter patient demographics and referrals accurately into EMR and PM systems.
