Zusammenfassung

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Patient Care Assistant I (PCA) for day and night availability on a 24-hour schedule at 55 Fruit Street, Boston. The role includes rotating weekends and holidays and supporting a fast-paced orthopaedics/Oral Maxillofacial unit with autonomous work after training.

Responsibilities include assisting patients with daily activities, recording vital signs, phlebotomy, charting in the EMR, and collaborating with RNs and physicians.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to assist with activities of daily living and vital signs.
• Experience with EHR documentation and charting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care documentation.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and assist with mobility.

• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Take and document vital signs and basic health measures.
• Aid licensed personnel with examinations and procedures.
• Ensure patient rooms are stocked and clean and equipment is ready.
• Enter data accurately into the electronic medical record (EMR).
