Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Phillips House 22 in Boston is seeking a Patient Care Assistant I (PCA) to provide compassionate patient care on a 19-bed Gynecology Oncology and General Surgery unit, with day and night shifts and rotating weekend and holiday coverage.

This full-time position offers 36 hours per week, a $750 sign-on bonus for applicable new hires, and benefits such as health, dental and vision insurance, tuition reimbursement, and a hospital retirement plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• BLS and relevant nursing assistant credentials preferred.
• Experience in patient care or elder care a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and nutrition.
• Take temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration; document in EHR.
• Assist with admissions, discharges and transportation as needed.
• Support RNs and physicians during exams and treatments.
