Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Sales Consultant to support the Cincinnati, Dayton, Northern Kentucky territory in MedTech. The role focuses on developing surgeon and account relationships, converting prospects, and driving product adoption across orthopaedics.

Candidates should bring a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, strong communication, and field sales experience in medical devices; travel may be required; commission-based compensation and collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree + minimum of 3 years of professional and/or related experience; or Associate degree or Medical Certification + minimum of 5 years of professional and/or related experience; or minimum of 8 years of professional and/or related experience; or recent military transition with related experience.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting and planning: identify and qualify prospective surgeons and accounts; develop and implement plans and selling strategies.
• Achieve business plan objectives and sales goals using approved resources.
• Product sales: drive product sales for all assigned products; present, demonstrate, and ensure proper utilization.
• Customer relationships: gain access to key surgeons and buyers; build relations with OR personnel.
• Case coverage: maintain surgeon contact; support surgeons during surgical cases.
• Customer care: provide problem-solving support and timely follow-up; educate staff through in-services and workshops.
• Inventory management: maintain sales equipment and materials per policies.
• Competitive threats: manage competition as appropriate.
• Promote new products and strategic selling objectives.
• Plan to achieve a balanced product sales mix in territory.
