Job summary

Johnson & Johnson seeks a Sales Consultant for the Cincinnati, Dayton, and Northern Kentucky territory to build and nurture surgeon and account relationships, drive product adoption, and achieve sales goals. The role is commission-based and requires clinical orthopaedics knowledge.

Qualifications

• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree plus 3+ years, or Associate degree/Medical Certification plus 5+ years, or 8+ years total experience, or military-to-civilian transition with 3+ years.
• Ability to work in lab/operating room environment.
• Valid US driver’s license and willingness to travel (including weekends).

Responsibilities

• Prospecting and planning to identify and qualify surgeon and accounts.
• Achieve business plan objectives and sales quotas using approved resources.
• Drive product sales for assigned products in territory; present, demonstrate, and ensure proper utilization.
• Build relationships with surgeons, OR staff, and hospital personnel.
• Provide case coverage and support during surgical procedures.
• Educate customers and provide after-sales support and follow-up.
• Manage promotional materials and sales equipment.
• Address competitive threats and promote new products and strategic objectives.
• Develop a balanced product sales mix in the territory.
