Job summary

AGILE OCCUPATIONAL MEDICINE PC is seeking a 1099 orthopedic surgeon to evaluate, diagnose, and manage work-related injuries. You will partner with physical therapists, chiropractors, and other clinicians under the occupational medicine framework to promote rapid recovery and safe return to work.

The role emphasizes teamwork, state-of-the-art care, and a patient-centered approach, with a fast-paced environment and emphasis on quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical program with an M.D. or D.O.
• Unrestricted Arizona medical license.
• Board certification or eligibility in specialty and state of practice.
• Active DEA registration.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current medical malpractice insurance coverage.
• Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients to diagnose musculoskeletal issues from work injuries.
• Develop individualized treatment plans including PT, meds, and surgical interventions when needed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for comprehensive care.
• Treat fractures and musculoskeletal conditions with injections, electrodiagnostic, and other therapies.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients about conditions and rehab process.
• Document timely and accurately in EMR.
