Agile Occupational Medicine is seeking a 1099 orthopedic surgeon in California to evaluate, diagnose, and manage work-related injuries. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and employers to develop timely treatment plans focused on getting injured workers back to work.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree with California license.
• Active DEA registration.
• Current BLS certification.
• Medical malpractice insurance coverage.
• Proficiency in MS Office and EMR software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose bone, joint, ligament, or musculoskeletal injuries related to work.
• Develop individualized treatment plans including PT, medications, and surgery when needed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and employers for comprehensive care.
• Treat fractures and musculoskeletal conditions with injections and other interventions.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans for optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients about conditions and rehabilitation process.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in EMR.
