Job summary

Agile Occupational Medicine seeks a 1099 orthopedic surgeon to evaluate, diagnose, and treat work-related injuries. You will collaborate with physical therapists, chiropractors, and other clinicians under an occupational medicine physician’s referral, while actively engaging employers in case management.

Our rapidly growing division emphasizes quality care with fast recovery, aggressive scheduling, and strong follow-up.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical program.
• Active Arizona medical license.
• Board certification or eligibility.
• Active DEA registration.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current medical malpractice insurance coverage.

Responsibilities

• Examining patients to diagnose musculoskeletal problems from work-related injuries.
• Develop individualized treatment plans including physical therapy, meds, and surgical options when needed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Treat fractures and musculoskeletal conditions through injections, electrodiagnostic, and other interventions.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans for optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients about their conditions and rehabilitation process.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation in EMR.
