Job summary

Arthrex Cleveland is seeking a Sales Representative to achieve sales goals in the Akron territory. You will consult surgeons in the operating room, maintain strong customer relationships, and stay current on Arthrex product lines and procedures.

The role emphasizes compliant, ethical selling and ongoing professional development. Qualifications include 3+ years in orthopedic sales, a bachelor’s degree, and comfort in open OR environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of orthopedic or related experience; sports experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree
• Demonstrated ability to relate to customers and constituents within the orthopedic/sports medicine market
• Must be comfortable in open operating room environments
• Knowledge of orthopedic procedures and terminology as it relates to Arthrex
• Knowledge of operating room protocols and procedures
• Ability to learn a high level of technical information, anatomy and indications as it relates to surgery and procedures
• Prior sales experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed sales objectives for the territory through surgeon relationships.
• Build and maintain strong business relationships and develop sales strategies.
• Consult surgeons in operating rooms regarding Arthrex products and procedures.
• Communicate product updates and portfolio changes to accounts.
• Cross-sell products and manage new product introductions.
• Address problems at the account and maintain compliance with laws and policies.
• Stay current on industry trends and competition.
• Lift up to 35 pounds as required.
