Job summary

Smith+ Nephew is seeking a Reconstruction Sales Representative for Vermont to advance orthopedic care across the territory. You will act as a technical consultant, drive geneal adoption of innovations, and build partnerships with surgeons and hospital stakeholders.

The role requires 2+ years of medical device sales, a bachelor’s degree, and the ability to manage a territory independently. This position offers a hybrid work model and travel up to monthly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years medical device sales experience, preferably within orthopedics.
• Demonstrated success selling and converting business at surgeon and hospital level.
• Strong relationship building skills with surgeons, KOLs and hospital stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, manage a territory strategically and deliver results.
• Experience mentoring or supporting other sales professionals is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acting as a technical consultant for the Orthopedic Reconstruction portfolio, specializing in total joint reconstruction
• Converting new and existing accounts through effective sales calls, in service support and operating room case coverage
• Training and educating surgeons and clinical teams on Smith+ Nephew products, technologies and programs
• Building strong partnerships with orthopedic and podiatric surgeons, hospitals, OR staff, SPD teams and administrators
• Driving adoption of innovative solutions including the CORI robotic surgical and navigation system
• Developing and executing a territory business plan to grow revenue and meet or exceed sales targets
• Collaborating cross divisionally with Reconstruction and Sports Medicine partners to uncover growth opportunities
