Job summary

Smith+Neu, a global medical technology company, seeks an Associate Sales Representative to support the Orthopedics-Reconstruction team in the United States. You will assist with installations, troubleshooting, and demo inventory setup, while learning extensive technical details related to surgical products.

You will cover cases for reps, train hospital staff, and help drive district sales targets by expanding existing accounts and pursuing new business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Licenses/ Certifications: Requires valid driver's license applicable to current residence to facilitate travel requirements of the position.
• Additional Experience: Prefers a minimum 2 years sales experience.
• Travel Requirements: 50-75%.
• Competences: hands-on problem solving, communication, adaptability, operates sophisticated medical equipment.
• Knowledge: Office package (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Learns and maintains a high level of technical information related to orthopedic reconstruction surgery.
• Gains knowledge of Recon, Trauma, Extremities and Universal Products product lines and pricing strategies.
• Assists with inventory moves between accounts and covers cases for reps at selected accounts.
• Provides medical/surgical information to surgeons consistent with user manuals.
• Assists/train hospital personnel in the use and care of product and equipment.
• Supports district targets by developing new business opportunities and planning territory growth.
