Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Physical Therapist to create and modify orthotics and to evaluate and treat patients of all ages, adjusting plans of care as needed. This position also serves as a clinical resource for staff and students, supporting education and best practices.

New grads may qualify for a $5,000 sign-on bonus and candidates with 1+ years of experience may receive $7,500. Relocation assistance is available for moving 50+ miles.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) - IDFPR
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association
• Attend and satisfactorily complete continuing education for acute stroke care

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats patients of all ages, modifying plan of care as appropriate
• Designs an appropriate plan of care integrating goals, treatment, outcomes and discharge plan
• Educates patients, family, caregivers and other health care providers
• Performs examination and selects reliable examination methods relevant to chief complaint and history
• Produces documentation in accordance with policy
• Evaluates impairments related to orthopedic and neurologic conditions and establishes a plan of care
