Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a physical therapist to create and modify orthotics and treat patients of all ages. The role involves evaluating patients, designing and adjusting plans of care, and educating patients and families. A sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities include conducting examinations, documenting in the EMR, and collaborating with the team to achieve optimal outcomes. License and BLS are required, with ongoing CEU expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) per IDFPR
• BLS within 30 days per AHA
• Attend and satisfactorily complete required continuing education on acute stroke care

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients of all ages and modify care plans
• Design an appropriate plan of care with goals, treatment, outcomes and discharge plan
• Educate patients and families using effective teaching methods
• Document therapy sessions and outcomes in the EMR
• Coordinate care with staff and providers as needed
• Assist with transfers and ensure safe body mechanics
