Job summary

Atrium is seeking a Practice Manager to lead the daily operations of a large orthopedic medical office across multiple NJ sites. You will oversee staff, financial performance, and process improvements to deliver patient-centered care.

The role requires 3–5+ years in healthcare management, strong leadership, and proficiency with EHR and practice management software. A Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s is preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position in New Jersey.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of healthcare management experience, ideally in an orthopedic or specialty practice.
• Proven ability to manage a large multi-provider medical office or clinic.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with EHR and practice management software; strong analytics and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinic operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and support functions to ensure efficiency and quality care.
• Develop and implement office policies and workflows to optimize patient experience and compliance.
• Coordinate provider schedules, operating room time, and ancillary services such as imaging and physical therapy.
• Manage inventory and supplies, including orthopedic equipment and implants.
• Recruit, hire, and supervise front office, billing, and clinical support staff; foster a collaborative culture.
• Monitor budgets, expenses, and revenue cycle metrics for financial health and compliance.
• Address patient concerns and strategies to improve satisfaction and service quality.
• Ensure HIPAA, OSHA, and other healthcare regulations compliance; maintain a safe environment.
• Oversee EHR and practice management systems; use data to guide decisions and continuous improvement.
