Job summary

Genesis Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in Chicago is seeking a motivated Physical Therapist to join our mission‑driven orthopedic team. You will work with a diverse patient population, including Medicaid cases, and collaborate with physicians, PTAs, and OTs to restore function and reduce pain.

You will provide evidence‑based, individualized care, document progress in Epic Hyperspace, and stay current with advances in physical therapy.

Qualifications

• Illinois PT license required to practice in-state.
• Graduate of an accredited PT program; DPT preferred.
• Board certification in Orthopedics/Sports Medicine is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients with goniometry and functional tests.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
• Use therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and modalities.
• Educate on home exercise programs and prevention.
• Document progress in Epic Hyperspace accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, PTAs, OTs, and staff.
• Supervise PTAs (1:1 ratio) and ensure care continuity.
• Engage in continuing education and professional growth.
• Contribute to department growth and new services (e.g., BFR).
