Job summary

Genesis Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in Chicago is seeking a motivated Physical Therapist to join our mission‑driven orthopedic team. You’ll assess patients across ages, develop individualized plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary group to restore function and reduce pain.

You will mentor PTAs, stay current with advances in PT, and contribute to expanding services like Blood Flow Restriction therapy.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in the State of Illinois.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT preferred).
• Board certification in Orthopedics or Sports Medicine (preferred).
• Experience with post-surgical patients and/or athletes (preferred).
• Familiarity with Epic Hyperspace EMR.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations and functional assessments.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans matched to goals and physician recommendations.
• Utilize interventions including therapeutic exercise and manual therapy to improve outcomes.
• Educate patients on conditions, home programs, and injury prevention.
