Job summary

Carle Health seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to create and modify orthotics, evaluating patients of all ages and adjusting treatment plans as needed. You will serve as a clinical resource for staff and students, deliver evidence-based care, and document outcomes.

New grads may receive a $5,000 sign-on bonus; candidates with 1+ year experience may receive $7,500. Relocation is available for moves over 50 miles. BLS and ongoing stroke care CEUs are required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in applicable state and IDFPR licensure.
• BLS certification required; ongoing continuing education for stroke care.
• New grads welcome with sign-on incentive.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates safe transfers and body mechanics.
• Designs and updates care plans with outcomes and discharge goals.
• Educates patients and families using effective teaching methods.
• Documents care consistent with policy and coding standards.
• Evaluates impairments and applies orthotic-related interventions.
