Responsibilities

• Direct patients to examination rooms to optimize patient flow.
• Prepare and stock examination rooms; restock at end of day.
• Collect specimens, sterilize instruments, remove staples and dressings as directed.
• Assist physicians with procedures as required.
• Record vital signs, weight, height in patient charts.
• Prepare treatment rooms for examinations.
• Draw injections and administer treatments; perform basic lab tests.
• Enter patient data into records and computer systems.
• Fit casts, splints, and orthopedic braces; manage DME.
• Instruct patients on care for casts and dressings.
