Resurgens Orthopaedics is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and clinical staff in a fast-paced orthopedic environment. The role emphasizes EMI documentation, patient preparation, and assistance with casting, bracing, and wound care, while coordinating appointments and maintaining efficient patient flow.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, Medical Assistant certification, CPR/BLS, and orthopedic experience is a plus. Travel between sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Education/certification as a Medical Assistant required or preferred.
• Experience in orthopedic settings is beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Prepare patients for examinations and appointments.
• Assist physicians during orthopedic procedures (casting, bracing, wound care).
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation within 24 hours of visits.
• Schedule tests, imaging, and follow-ups.
• Manage patient flow and education for pre- and post-visit care.
• Ensure exam rooms are stocked and clean; sterilize instruments.
