Job summary

Arlington Orthopedics Associates is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and clinical staff in a fast-paced orthopedic setting. You will prepare patients for examinations, assist with casting, bracing, wound care, and manage documentation in the EMR to ensure accurate health records.

Ideal candidates have MA certification or completed an accredited program, strong communication, and the ability to travel between sites if needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• MA certification or completion of accredited MA program preferred.
• Current CPR certification (CPR, BLS) required or preferred.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR/EMR) systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for visit and assists with examinations.
• Assists with orthopedic procedures such as casting, bracing, and wound care.
• Maintains EMR documentation and updates patient health history.
• Schedules appointments and coordinates tests and follow-ups.
• Maintains exam rooms and inventories medical supplies.
