Job summary

NTO Physician Partners PLLC in Grapevine, TX is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and clinical staff in an orthopedic setting. You will prepare patients, assist with exams, manage documentation in EMR, and help coordinate care across the team.

The role requires an MA certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) and experience with EMR systems, strong communication, and attention to detail. Travel between site locations may be required, with a supportive, collaborative culture and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) or completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program is preferred.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR/EMR) systems.
• Current CPR certification (CPR, BLS)
• Two years orthopedic experience preferred
• Three years medical office experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for visit by directing/accompanying patients to the examination or X-ray room and assisting with positioning.
• Interviews patient and records medical histories; may order x-rays per protocol.
• Assists health care providers during examinations.
• Keeps documentation in EMR up to date and accurate.
• Schedules appointments and coordinates tests, procedures, or surgery.
• Responds to patient calls and documents communications in EMR.
• Maintains exam rooms and cleans between visits.
