Job summary

Smith+Naphew is seeking a Fellows' Manager to develop lifelong advocates across Sports Medicine, Adult Reconstruction, and Trauma in the Western US. You will build relationships with fellows and fellowship programs, and drive engagement with Smith+Naphew technologies, education, and opportunities.

You will collaborate with Medical Education, Clinical Education, Marketing, and commercial teams to maximize engagement, while leading transitions to practice and coordinating regional education

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in medical device sales, medical education, clinical specialist, market development, orthopedic healthcare, or related field.
• Strong understanding of orthopedic OR procedures, training processes, and surgeon education.
• Experience in Sports Medicine, Joint Reconstruction, Trauma, or similar orthopedic specialties.
• Ability to build and maintain influential relationships with fellows, fellowship programs, key opinion leaders, and cross functional stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen, customer focus, communication skills, and project management capabilities.
• Broad product and procedural knowledge with cross franchise educational opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with fellows and fellowship programs across the Western Region.
• Serve as the primary Smith+Naphew expert for the fellows segment, creating engagement strategies.
• Develop and maintain accurate records of fellowship programs, fellow engagement, training curricula, and exposure to Smith+Naphew products and techniques.
• Identify educational gaps and coordinate targeted learning opportunities.
• Drive attendance and awareness for regional and national education programs.
• Lead the Transition to Practice process with commercial teams for a seamless entry to independent practice.
• Collaborate with Medical Education, Clinical Education, Marketing, and commercial teams to maximize engagement.
• Partner with stakeholders to design customized educational programs for fellowship programs.
• Prioritize fellowship programs based on engagement and business objectives.
• Share best practices and provide regular reporting on activities and outcomes.
• Support fellowship programs across North America as needed.
• Travel domestically up to 50%.
