Job summary

Smith+Naphew seeks a Fellows' Manager to cultivate lifelong advocates across Sports Medicine, Adult Reconstruction, and Trauma in the Western US. You will build relationships with fellows and fellowship programs, becoming the go-to expert on Smith+Naphew education and technologies.

You will coordinate learning opportunities, track program outcomes, and lead transitions to independent clinical practice, partnering with education, marketing, and commercial teams to maximize impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience within medical device sales, medical education, clinical specialist, market development, orthopedic healthcare, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of orthopedic operating room procedures, training processes, and surgeon education.
• Experience working within Sports Medicine, Joint Reconstruction, Trauma, or similar orthopedic specialties.
• Ability to build and maintain influential relationships with fellows, fellowship programs, key opinion leaders, and cross functional stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen, customer focus, communication skills, and project management capabilities.
• Broad product and procedural knowledge with the ability to identify cross franchise educational opportunities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple teams and functions.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with fellows and fellowship programs across the Western Region.
• Serve as the primary Smith+Naphew expert for the fellows segment, creating engagement strategies.
• Develop and maintain accurate records of fellowship programs, fellow engagement, training curricula, and exposure to Smith+Naphew products and techniques.
• Identify educational gaps and coordinate targeted learning opportunities.
• Drive attendance and awareness for regional and national fellows' education programs.
• Lead the Transition to Practice process, partnering with commercial teams for a seamless transition to independent practice.
• Collaborate with Medical Education, Clinical Education, Marketing, and commercial teams to maximize engagement.
• Design and implement customized educational programs addressing fellowship needs.
• Prioritize programs based on engagement, value, and objectives; share best practices.
