Job summary

Texas Orthopedics in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced medical assistant to support orthopedic care, including casting, splinting, and DME application. You will assist physicians, gather patient information, educate patients on care plans, and document all care in the EMR promptly.

Responsibilities include managing clinic inventory, coordinating DME processes, and ensuring OSHA compliance while maintaining high patient care standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited Athletic Training program is required.
• Master's degree is preferred.
• Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) - Board of Certification is required; Texas licensure LAT is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with patient care, including casting, splinting, bracing, and DME application.
• Perform delegated technical visits and document all care in the EMR timely.
• Manage clinic inventory, supplies, and DME processes; ensure OSHA compliance.
