Job summary

Texas Orthopedics in Austin, TX is seeking an Orthopedic Technician to support physicians with patient care, castings, bracing and DME. The role includes managing clinic inventory, ordering supplies and ensuring OSHA compliance while maintaining EMR documentation.

You will back up clinic staffing, assist with MA duties, and serve as a resource to staff on EMR usage and clinic policies. A high school diploma or GED is required; Ortho Tech certification is preferred, with about 1 year of related

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Ortho Tech Certification preferred.
• Experience: 1 year as Ortho Tech preferred; 3 years casting/splinting/DME preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with daily patient care activities including MA and Ortho Tech responsibilities.
• Manage clinic inventory by ordering supplies and overseeing medications/medication samples.
• Maintain OSHA compliance and back up staffing for the clinic.
• Document patient care actions in the EMR system promptly.
• Back up and perform essential functions of MA and Ortho Tech as needed.
• Ensure quality patient care and adherence to clinic protocols.
