Job summary

Texas Orthopedics, A Division of OrthoLoneStar, is seeking a full-time orthopedics technician to support physicians, manage DME, and maintain OSHA compliance. You will assist with patient care, casting, bracing, and inventory control across Austin clinics.

The role requires at least a high school diploma (MA/Ortho Tech preferred) and experience with EMR systems. Details include benefits and a collaborative, patient-first work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; MA or Ortho Tech certification preferred.
• Experience casting, splinting, DME; knowledge of OSHA regulations is preferred.
• Strong EMR and inventory control skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with daily patient care activities including MA and Ortho Tech responsibilities.
• Manage clinic inventory and reorder levels for DME and supplies.
• Maintain OSHA compliance and assist with training of clinical staff.
• Back up and perform essential MA/Ortho Tech functions as needed.
• Capture insurance benefits and authorization requirements for DME.
