Job summary

Texas Orthopedics, a division of OrthoLoneStar, seeks an experienced clinical assistant to support physicians with casting, splinting, and DME applications in the TXO-South Austin Clinic. You will manage bracing, inventory, and EMR entries while ensuring OSHA and HIPAA compliance.

The role requires 2–5 years in orthopedics, ATC certification, and Texas licensure, with responsibilities spanning patient education, workflow support, and cross-cover duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 2–5 years of clinical orthopedic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with patient care including casting, splinting, bracing, and DME application.
• Perform tech visits including cast removal, fittings, and follow-up care.
• Verify insurance benefits and assist with prior authorizations and coding/billing.
