Job summary

Select Orthopaedics seeks an Orthopedic Technician to join the care team in Phoenix. You will assist with casting, fitting and managing DME products, while educating patients and coordinating with payers to ensure authorization and coverage.

This role requires attention to detail and teamwork in a busy clinical setting. Qualifications include a High School Degree or Equivalent; experience in casting and DME is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or Equivalent required.
• Professional health care experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide fitting and patient education on application, use, care, and outcomes for DME products as directed by physicians and manufacturers.
• Educate patients on insurance plans, financial responsibilities, and collect patient portions.
• Ensure required documentation and payer authorization is obtained.
• Track, maintain, and order inventory for clinic locations.
• Collaborate with DMEPOS coordinators, Billing Specialists and clinical staff to support patient care.
