Job summary

Texas Orthopedics in Austin, TX is seeking a full-time Orthopedic Technician/MA to support physicians with patient care, casting, bracing, and DME management. You will order clinic supplies, monitor medications, maintain OSHA compliance, and back up clinic staff while documenting actions in the EMR system.

The role requires excellent communication, teamwork, and adherence to clinic protocols. Travel between local clinics is possible, and a certification in MA or Ortho Tech is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• MA or Ortho Tech Certification preferred.
• Preferred 1 year experience as an Ortho Tech in a clinical setting.
• Experience with casting, splinting, and DME is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with daily patient care activities.
• Manage clinic inventory and order supplies; oversee medications/medication samples.
• Maintain OSHA compliance and assist with clinic training.
• Back up clinic staff and document actions in the EMR system.
