Job summary

Texas Orthopedics, a Division of OrthoLonestar, seeks an Orthopedic Technician/Medical Assistant to support physicians with patient care, including casting, bracing, and related duties. You will manage clinic inventory, place orders for supplies and medications, and ensure OSHA compliance while documenting actions in the EMR.

This full-time, non-exempt role requires strong teamwork, reliable attendance, and the ability to assist in multiple clinics as needed, with opportunities for professional

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; MA or Ortho Tech certification preferred.
• Orthopedic Technician certification preferred or equivalent training.
• Experience with EMR systems and clinical documentation is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with patient care, including casting and bracing.
• Manage clinic inventory and oversee supplies/medications.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain a clean, safe clinical environment.
• Back up MA and Ortho Tech duties as needed and document actions in EMR.
