Job summary

Alliance Orthopedics seeks a Clinical Coordinator in Toms River, NJ to support daily operations, coordinate patient care, and maintain accurate records. You will liaise between patients and providers, manage documentation, and assist with scheduling and care continuity.

The role emphasizes HIPAA-compliant record keeping, EMR navigation, and collaborative teamwork across a multidisciplinary practice in nine New Jersey locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, with healthcare exposure preferred.
• Experience in clinical or administrative roles within orthopedics is desirable.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and medical records management is desirable.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and professional communication with patients and staff.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and EMR systems.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily clinic operations, including patient intake, registration, and medical record maintenance.
• Serve as liaison between patients, providers, and other departments to facilitate communication.
• Maintain accurate patient records, histories, test results, and treatment plans in HIPAA-compliant manner.
• Prepare and organize patient charts for healthcare providers.
• Navigate EMR (CareCloud), locate documents, and assist with patient notes and light billing.
• Coordinate with external facilities such as imaging centers and physical therapy clinics.
• Support quality improvement initiatives, data collection, and audits.
