Job summary

Alliance Orthopedics in Toms River, NJ is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to provide administrative and clinical support in the orthopedic department. You will liaise between providers and patients to monitor care plans, follow up, and evaluate progress.

The role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. A Bachelor's degree is preferred with experience in clinical or administrative orthopedic settings.)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in a clinical or administrative role within an orthopedic setting is desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems (EMR) is desirable.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing day-to-day operations of the orthopedic clinic, including patient intake, registration, and medical records maintenance.
• Serve as a liaison between patients, healthcare providers, and other departments to facilitate communication and collaboration.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including histories, test results, and treatment plans, complying with privacy regulations (HIPAA).
• Prepare and organize patient charts for healthcare providers.
• Navigate EMR (CareCloud), locate documents for patient care, assist with patient notes, and assist with medical billing as needed.
• Coordinate with external facilities such as imaging centers and physical therapy clinics.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, data collection, and process improvements.
