Job summary

Genesis Orthopedics & Sports Medicine seeks a Front Office Manager to lead administrative operations across six outpatient clinics. You will review claims, manage a team of analysts, and ensure payer compliance with EPIC workflows and HIPAA standards.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in medical claims management, strong CPT/HCPCS knowledge, and advanced Excel skills. Hybrid schedule and competitive compensation are offered to support high-quality orthopedic care.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in medical claims management or billing, with a strong focus on orthopedic claims.
• Proven experience leading a claims or AR team in a healthcare setting.
• Hands-on experience with EPIC system.
• Strong CPT/HCPCS coding, modifiers, EOBs, ERAs, and payer denial handling knowledge.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, trend tracking).
• Excellent communication and ability to work cross-functionally with billing, coding and management teams.
• Meticulous attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee administrative operations of six outpatient clinics.
• Review and validate contractual adjustments; ensure claim posting accuracy and payer compliance.
• Assign new accounts to analysts from EPIC workqueues by payer, aging and priority.
• Audit processed claims for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
• Conduct daily/weekly performance reviews; monitor productivity and accuracy.
• Lead and support a team of support staff; provide coaching and escalation support.
• Manage task assignments and workloads across analysts.
• Oversee denial trends and collaborate with billing/coding teams to resolve issues.
• Prepare and distribute daily/weekly/monthly reports on claims status and AR performance.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and stay current with coding changes and EPIC workflows.
