Job summary

Texas Orthopedics, a division of OrthoLoneStar, is seeking an Orthopedic Technician for Kyle, TX. The role supports physicians, manages DME, and ensures OSHA-compliant clinic operations. Strong EMR proficiency and a team-first mindset are essential.

The position demands 1 year of Ortho Tech experience or certification, with 3 years in casting/splinting and DME care preferred. High school diploma or GED required; Ortho Tech certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; MA or Ortho Tech Certification preferred.
• 1 year experience as Ortho Tech or certification.
• Experience with supply ordering and OSHA knowledge.
• Casting, splinting, and DME handling experience (3 years preferred).
• Mastery of clinic skills and DME/casting checklists.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with daily patient care activities including MA and Ortho Tech responsibilities.
• Manage clinic inventory and oversee DME and supplies reorders.
• Maintain OSHA compliance and document actions in EMR.
• Back up staffing for clinic and mentor staff on policies.
• Support billing and insurance benefit capture for DME.
