Job summary

Austin Regional Clinic is seeking a team-oriented individual to provide orthopedic care under supervision in a busy clinic setting in Austin, TX. You'll assist with cast application, brace fitting, and patient education while supporting surgeons and nurses to ensure smooth patient flow.

Responsibilities include obtaining insurance authorizations for orthopedic devices, triaging cast and wound concerns by phone, and helping with scheduling and transport as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a physician's office or hospital preferred.
• Must be able to lift 20 pounds and overhead 5 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Apply splints and casts; brace fitting and patient instruction.
• Obtain insurance authorizations for orthopedic devices.
• Triage telephone cast, wound problems; educate patients.
