Job summary

Texas Orthopedics is seeking an Orthopedic Technician/MA to assist physicians with patient care, casting and related duties across multiple clinics. You will manage inventory, support EMR documentation, and back up staffing as needed, ensuring OSHA compliance and efficient operations.

The role requires clinic experience, DME knowledge, and strong interpersonal skills; certifications are preferred for advancement and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; MA/Ortho Tech certification preferred.
• 1 year of Ortho Tech experience preferred; experience with casting and DME is valued.
• Experience with supply ordering and OSHA knowledge is preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems and navigating clinic workflows.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with daily patient care including MA and Ortho Tech duties.
• Maintain clinic inventory and reorder levels for DME and supplies.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and autoclave/AED checks.
• Back up clinic staff and support EMR documentation.
• Mentor staff and support policy adherence within the clinic.
