Job summary

Johnson & Johnson's Orthopaedics division in Austin, TX is seeking a Sales Consultant to support the Austin territory.

In this front-line role, you will develop surgeon relationships, convert prospects, and drive product sales across DePuy Synthes joint reconstruction, trauma, and robotics lines.

You will work with OR staff, provide in-situ training, and contribute to a high-performing team while upholding J&J values and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with 3+ years in medical sales or related fields.
• Associate degree or Medical Certification (CST, PT, etc.) with 5+ years experience.
• 8+ years of professional and/or related experience.
• Military experience welcomed with 3+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting and planning to identify and qualify surgeons and accounts.
• Achieve business plan objectives and sales quotas.
• Drive product sales within an assigned territory or set of named accounts.
• Build relationships with surgeons and OR staff.
• Provide case coverage and support during surgical cases.
• Educate surgeons and OR personnel through in-services.
• Maintain sales equipment and promotional materials.
• Handle competitive threats and promote new products.
• Implement a balanced product sales mix in territory.
