Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Sales Consultant for the Louisville, KY territory to support DePuy Synthes Orthopaedics. You will build relationships with surgeons and hospital staff, develop strategic account plans, and drive product adoption across joint reconstruction, trauma, spine, and robotics portfolios.

The role requires a professional with a strong field presence, travel readiness, and the ability to work in operating room environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree + minimum of 3 years of professional/related experience.
• Associate degree or Medical Certification (CST, PT, etc.) + minimum of 5 years of professional/related experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of professional and/or related experience.
• Recently transitioned from Active Military Duty + minimum of 3 years of professional and/or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting and Planning: Identify and qualify prospective surgeons and accounts; develop and implement plans and selling strategies.
• Achieve Business Plan Objectives and sales goals through approved resources.
• Product Sales: Drive sales for all assigned products within territory; present and demonstrate products.
• Customer Relationships: Gain access to right surgeons and buyers; build relationships with surgeons and OR staff.
• Case Coverage: Maintain surgeon contact; support during surgical cases.
• Customer Care: Improve patient care; provide timely follow-up and education to surgeons, OR and central supply personnel.
• Inventory Management: Maintain sales equipment and materials; align with company policies.
